Carol from United Utilities has started calling into the Lighthouse Project and Middleton Central Foodbank recently to offer free advice and support to people who might be struggling to pay their utility bills.
Many people keep their heads down when they start to get behind with payments which can just make things worse, so Carol in her community liaison role comes along to offer reach out to people and to offer help and guidance on different ways that support can be given in such situations.
Recently her office held a collection for the foodbank and Carol came to bring some of the donated food items along.
