Middleton DIAL

Dial chairsMiddleton DIAL– This is a local disability charity that is based at the Lighthouse Project. The charity moved in with the Lighthouse Project when they were forced to vacate their previous premises due to local authority cut backs.

When we heard about their need Inspire Middleton was keen to ensure that this valuable service was not lost to the town and so was happy to offer our support to them.

Dial VolunteersMiddleton DIAL  exists to support disabled people resident in the Rochdale Borough. This covers Middleton, Heywood, Castleton, Norden, Bamford,and Rochdale.DIAL stands for – Disablement, Information Advice Line.

They provide wheelchairs and walking support equipment on short term loan. Information from handing over a leaflet to finding a way to get necessary support in the home. We will  do our best to get you any help you may need to make an application for Disabled Living Allowance (DLA) or Attendance Allowance, provide help with Direct Payments including accounts. We can also assist community organisations with bookkeeping.
