Middleton Memory Wellbeing Cafe
Middleton Memory Wellbeing Cafe – This is a monthly drop-in session arranged and run by the Rochdale office of the Alzheimers Society. The Middleton cafe is run in the Lighthouse Project and offers support to anyone in the community who has concerns about Alzheimers or dementia, as a sufferer or for those who care for someone.
Whilst this work is provided by the Alzheimers Society we also offer our support by promoting the cafe and sign-posting potential beneficiaries to them.
From the time that the memory wellbeing cafe started with us it continued to grow and develop, and in 2014 the group felt that they needed to move to an alternative location that would allow them to be based closer to people who might benefit from their services and support. The memory wellbeing cafe is now run in D’Oliveira Court, which is a Contour Homes retirement/sheltered housing development on Wood Street, Langley, Middleton, M24 5Qu.
The service is run by firstname.lastname@example.org contact no: 0161 342 0797
