The Lighthouse is recruiting for 2 new projects
Due to a successful award of funding from a local Social Investment Fund we are currently recruiting for two workers to join our Lighthouse Project team for a fixed 12 months term.
The first job is for a Community Development Worker to support our new Community Toolbox project.
This is a Full-time position, 35hrs/week, salary £16,000 p.a., and the post holder will be responsible for supporting and developing all aspects of our new Community Toolbox project which is a mixture of support and development activities running at the Lighthouse Project to help people become independent and socially resilient.
The successful candidate will be working in conjunction with the existing Lighthouse Project staff and the centre management team.
The second job is for a Support Worker to support and develop our new Middleton Men in Sheds project.
This is a part-time position, 28hrs/week, salary £12,800 p.a (WTE £16,000 pro-rata), and the post holder will be responsible for supporting and developing all aspects of our new Men in Sheds project which will provide a safe place and practical activities at the Lighthouse Project aimed at reducing social isolation, building skills and encouraging men to thrive.
The successful candidate will be working in conjunction with the existing Lighthouse Project staff and centre management team.
