He has won the respect of the groups and of young people by treating them fairly. Tony also volunteered his time to take part in a police and burglary operation passing on advice to residents.

Tony, who lives in Heywood said: “I am very shocked that I have won this but obviously I am very delighted”. “As a Street Pastor we just go out to help people, call into local shops and takeaways and just be a presence on the streets”

“It is an amazing thing to be nominated with everyone else, it is nice to give something back and it shows that there are people out there that do care about community.”
